A bit about K7MEE
My
name
is Mark. I became a licensed Amateur Radio Operator 'Ham' in
2006. At that time, I was KE7HLL. In 2007, I upgraded to General
class and got my current Vanity call sign, K7MEE.

What I have and use
My rig is a Yaesu FT-897D with a AT-897 tuner attached. My antenna's
include a Inverted-V dipole using RG-58 coax. I also have a 50' tower
with a 3-band Gem Quad attached. The Gem Quad was finally installed
this fall but, still needs some fine adjusting done. Will try and get
to that in the summer of 2008. In the meantime, the wires will be
somewhat loose on the arms. I also have a ATAS-120 antenna that I have
for portable operations using a camera tripod configured with a plate
for the antenna to mount on. Works nicely.
My HT is a Yaesu VX-7R Quad-band.
I like to operate HF, usually 20 & 40 meters; and VHF/UHF. I QSL
direct as time and funds permit. I am also registered and upload to
LoTW and eQSL.cc
Below is a map of the areas of the world that I have worked.
